Same Sex Marriage and Immigration Reform
Friday, March 29th, 2013
Left, Right and Center is a weekly half-hour radio broadcast and podcast produced by KCRW in Santa Monica.
On this show the panelists begin by talking about the Supreme Court’s hearings on the topic of gay marriage. They talk about the shift in public opinion and the shift in positions of members of Congress.
The debate on the panel then turns to the issue of immigration reform. Perhaps a guest worker program will emerge but differences will have to be overcome between labor groups and business groups.
The participants on the show are Robert Sheer who represents the left, Matthew Continetti, who represents the right, and Dan Schnur, subbing for Matt Miller, the moderator, who represents the center.
At the end of this entertaining show the participants each have a 30 second rant to summarize the issue that each sees as most significant.
