The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for web casters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on July 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!). This could put a majority of Internet Radio providers out of business as well as your favorite radio stations who can’t pay the retroactive bills.

To protest these rates I encourage you, the millions of net radio, public and commercial radio listeners to take action and contact your Congressional representatives! Listen to Fred’s interview with Jason Stoddard.

The bills you want to see pass are: S-1353 in the Senate and HR-2060 in the House.

The web sites to learn more and to find your state Senators and Congressmen are:

Together, we can stop the madness.

FDA Corruption and Abuse

Saturday, June 16th, 2007

Welcome to Health Law and Politics with your host Jonathan Emord.

Jonathan’s guests are Dr. Arthur M. Evangelista, Director of Operation at Public Health and Medical Fraud Research Cooperative and Byron Richards, founder and director of Wellness Resources.

Did you know the FDA is approving drugs that are know to be unsafe?

Dr Evangelista say “I have thoroughly investigated and collected evidence that in fact indicates the FDA is a political “machine”, operating under the indirect influence of politicians, and in direct concert with various agri-chemical and pharmaceutical corporations.

The evidence is clear…as you know several drugs and medical devices claimed initially to be safe have been re-investigated by FDA, and reversed its initial position.”

What to you think?

Jonathan Emord, the only attorney in history who has defeated the Food and Drug Administration in federal court on six separate occasions, hosts the new show “Health Law and Politics.” The program airs every Saturday from 4PM to 6PM Eastern and Sunday from 2PM to 4PM Eastern, via radio stations nationwide and over the Talk Star Radio Network.

Jonathan Emord’s program documents instances of FDA and FTC abuse of power that sacrifice life or liberty. He interviews experts in the fields of health and medicine, litigants in cases against the FDA and the FTC, members of Congress and other government decisionmakers, and victims of FDA denial of access to medical treatment or health information. He also provides his own expert commentary on the legal and health implications of the government’s actions. “We will reveal the cost in human life, health, and liberty of political decisions that protect drug companies from competition at the expense of consumers,” Emord said. “We will show how FDA and FTC fail to follow the rule of law, harm those they were designed to help, and ignore the will of Congress, the Courts, and the American people,” he said.
