Dave ?Mudcat? Saunders may sound like a good ol? Southern boy but make no mistake- this is one sharp guy. Hang in there through the first minute or so of this podcast of Chuck Harder?s For the People? show and you will realize that this is a man who is educated and passionate about his beliefs. What are his beliefs? Well, the title of his new book (along with co-author, Prof. Steve Jarding) gives a pretty good indication as to where he?s coming from: ?Foxes in the Hen House: How the Republicans Stole the South and the Heartland and What Democrats Must Do to Run ?em Out?. This is not a man who accepts all Democrats as wonderful (he does not have particularly good words for Bill Clinton) but he does have some very strong words of praise for some.
