Remember When…

I don?t know how many of you are old enough to remember the early television show called ?I Remember Mama?. It was based on the reflections of the eldest daughter of a Norwegian-American family in 1910 in San Francisco. If you remember the show at all, you may also recollect that Mama was played by the actress Peggy Wood who would later star as the Mother Superior in ?The Sound of Music?. Now, you may want to know what all this has to do with the Chuck Harder show, ?For the People?. Well, this half hour is reminisce time with Chuck and Victor Ives. Victor is a legendary broadcaster with experience both in front of the mike and behind the mike. He is also the CEO and headcheese (his words, not mine) of TalkStarRadio. It would be easy to dismiss this episode as just two old friends talking but there is an underlying message. With the way most radio stations are now, there are very few with live people at the stations that could get on the airwaves in case of a national or local emergency. That is a frightening thought, as Chuck points out. Click here to listen to this podcast.
