The three panelists on today’s show start by talking about President Bush’s plan to help the Detroit three auto makers. They agree that the action was a temporary solution and they question what the auto makers can do in the next three months to save themselves.
Next they talk about Madoff’s ponzi scheme that resulted in a $50 billion loss to investors. Greed seemed to be acceptable and made the illegal activities possible.
The panel also talks about Caroline Kennedy and her celebrity bid to become the replacement in the Senate for Senator Clinton.
The panel talks about the latest additions to President Obama’s cabinet.
The participants on the show are Robert Scheer who represents the left, Tony Blankley who represents the right, and Matt Miller, the moderator, who represents the center. Arianna Huffington, who represents the progressive blogosphere is away today.
At the end of this entertaining show the participants each have a 30 second rant to summarize the issue that each sees as most significant.
