You are aware, I?m sure, of the cartoons that are creating such impassioned actions in the Middle East and other places in the world- the cartoons portraying the Prophet Muhammad. But it wasn?t until I listened to the guest on Chuck Harder?s For the People show that I realized that the cartoons were published about five months ago. What gives? Well, according to Arnaud de Borchgrave, the Muslim fanatics have used them to stir up the faithful on their own timetable. And the cartoons have not only been published in some European countries but also in Egypt. Mr. de Borchgrave is an Editor-at-large for the Washington Times and UPI, and is a Senior Advisor for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS.org). On the 6th of this month he wrote a column for the Washington Times titled ?Later Than We Think? and in that he says that the President of Iran believes that the apocalypse will occur within the next few years, possibly within two. Mr. de Borchgrave also states that he thinks President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, is ?unbalanced? and agrees with a friend of his that the WMD that Iran will use are of chemical in nature, not nuclear.
