America, Open Your Doors

Dr. Ernest Rosenbaum is a man of compassion. That is evident when he’s talking to Chuck Harder about the disaster on the Gulf Coast. Dr. Rosenbaum is not only a doctor but he is a survivor- a survivor of cancer. He has written a book-Everyone’s Guide to Cancer Supportive Care- which can be purchased by clicking here. There are many similarities between being a survivor of cancer and being a survivor of a hurricane. Dr. Rosenbaum says that the greatest threat is not only physical but psychological and that both must be addressed. His way of personally helping the situation in the Gulf Coast was to open up his home and have some people stay with him. Like I said, a man of compassion. On the other hand, he can also be blunt. He pretty much said that President Bush needs to get off his duff and get down to Louisiana and show his support for those people. Click here to listen to the whole podcast.
