Paycheck to paycheck and Going Down for the Count

How much are you able to put away into your savings? If you are like many Americans, probably not much, if any. Talk Star Radio’s Chuck Harder and his guest, Alan Tonelson talk about the state of finances in the United States and it’s not a pretty picture. We are in what is called a negative savings rate. We are borrowing money from China. The net wage has gone no where since 1966- they call it wage stagnation. And on and on they go. Tonelson is a Research Fellow at the US Business and Industry Education Foundation (website is AmericanEconomicAlert.org) and has written a book entitled, The Race to the Bottom.
